Anna believes that healthy eating is a journey and is anything but a one-size-fits-all answer. Everyone reacts differently to various foods and sometimes your body is so used to garbage food that you may not even notice the negative effect is it having on you.  Anna spent a good portion of her childhood in and out of hospitals.  With severe asthma and rosacea, western medicine’s solution consisted of a daily steroid inhaler and other mediations. Anna was told that she would never be able to play sports, or even get overly excited… so spending the 4th of July and Halloween in the emergency room was almost a guarantee. Learning to cope with her apparent limitations, she spent 30 years heavily medicated while living a vegetarian lifestyle.

Then one month, everything changed. She began researching about the connection between food and common health problems – she decided to experiment. She cut out dairy… then gluten… within weeks the asthma attacks stopped! The rosacea was gone!  She stopped taking her inhaler and began taking up running and kickboxing. After never being able to do anything active her entire life, she was up to several miles a day and teaching kickboxing classes!

After such a transformation, her passion for health has led her to a profession in vegan gluten-free cooking that provides well-rounded nutrition and unbelievable taste. Because there’s no reason that healthy food can’t taste absolutely amazing.
